Pay Scale:
♦ Security Assistant/Executive: Level-3 (Rs. 21700-69100) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances
♦ Multi-Tasking Staff/General: Level-1 (Rs. 18000-56900) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.
Eligibility Criteria of Intelligence Bureau Recruitment
Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education
Domicile: Candidates must possess domicile certificate of that State against which candidate has applied.
Age Limit:
♦ Security Assistant/Executive: Candidates age should not be exceeding 27 years.
♦ Multi-Tasking Staff/General: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 23 years.
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Knowledge of local language/Dialect: Candidates applying for the vacancies for the post of SA/Exe & MTS/Gen of a particular SIB are required to possess knowledge of any one of the local language(s)/dialect(s) indicated against it. They should be able to read, write and speak in that language/dialect.
♦ Local Language for Guwahati SIB: Assamese, Bodo, Bengali, Sylheti, Mishing, Dimasa, Rabha, Tiwa, Kuki, Hmar, Paite, Nepali, Garo, Karbi, Santhali, KochRajbanshi, Manipuri (Meitei), Pnar & Khasi
